Junshan Liu is an associate professor at the McWhorter School of Building Science at Auburn University. Professor Liu’s teaching and research focus on the applications of Building Information Modeling (BIM), LiDAR, photogrammetry and UAS in construction management. He has completed several interdisciplinary research projects that utilized advanced construction technology, specifically BIM, LiDAR and photogrammetry to document and digitally reconstruct significant historical structures of the Civil Rights Movement, including the Edmund Pettus Bridge and the Old Depot Museum in Selma, Alabama.
